Item: Everytime I load LDOCE 5 it requests the disc to be inserted

In some instances LDOCE 5 will always ask for the disc to be inserted before it will run, even with a full installation. Try the following steps to fix this issue:

  1. Download this file: ldoce5patch.zip
  2. Extract/unzip the file and double click it.
  3. You should get a message confirming the patch has been successfully applied.
  4. Now the software will ask once more to verify the disc, after which it will run without it.
