1. On Click Start -- Run -- type inetmgr
2. Expand (Local Computer) -- Web Site -- Default Web Site
3. Right click on Side by Side folder and click Properties
4. Click on HTTP Headers tab and then click on MIME Types
5. Click on New.
6. For the Extension box, type .cct
7. For the MIME box, type Sidebyside
8. Click OK -- OK -- Apply and then OK.
9. Click the Close button to exit the IIS Manager console.
10. Launch the Side by Side program on the client computer. It should load fine.

Item: How to install or run a program in Compatibility Mode in Windows 7?

Compatibility mode allows a program written for an earlier versions of Windows to possibly run in Windows 7. You can also use Compatibility mode to always have a program to Run as an administrator.

1. Right click on the program's shortcut, .exe file, or installation file.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
   
   
4. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box.
5. Click on the drop down menu arrow and select Windows XP.
   NOTE: Always pick the latest Windows version the program was written for to have a better chance of it running properly in Windows 7.
6. To Change the Privilege Level of the program - Check the Run this program as an administrator box to enable or disable this option.
   
   
7. Click on OK to apply the changes.
8. Now, double click on the program's shortcut, .exe file, or installation file to start the installation.
9. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

3. Navigate to the location/folder where you installed the Side by Side program. Example: C:\Side_by_Side\dswmedia\Xsprocket\video

4. Copy the 320300.mov file from the extracted zipped content and paste it into the video folder. If you are asked to replace the existing file, click the Yes button. Close all windows and try to run the Side by Side program.

5. Navigate to the location/folder where you installed the Side by Side program and open the Xsprocket folder. Example: C:\Side_by_Side\dswmedia\Xsprocket

6. Copy the splash.dxr file from SidebySide_Interactive_32_3_fix folder and paste it into the Xsprocket folder. If you are asked to replace the existing file, click the Yes button. Close all windows and try to run the Side by Side program.

Problem:
When playing video within a product either from CD, network location or local hard disk the video appears to play correctly but without sound.

Cause:
An update for Flash Player has compromised the ability of the Flash Player plugin to properly render the audio channel of .flv format content.

Affects:
All delivery mechanisms of .flv (Flash video) content. This includes other sources of rich media content e.g. YouTube.

Solution:
You should uninstall Flash Player from the affected computer(s) and re-install the latest version.
Adobe recommend the use of the uninstaller from their website to ensure that all components correctly unregister (due to recent 'enhancements' to Flash Player):

When you turn on Compatibility View, the web page you are viewing, as well as any other web pages within the website's domain, will be displayed as if you were using an earlier version of Internet Explorer.

How to turn on Internet Explorer Compatibility View?

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Go to the website you would like to view.
   
3. Click the Tools button in the Internet Explorer Menu bar, and then click Compatibility View.
   
   
   
   
4. From now on, whenever you visit the website, it will be displayed in Compatibility View.
   

• If the website receives updates to display correctly in the Internet Explorer 8, Compatibility View will automatically turn off.
